Gen Kelsang Nampur is the appointed visiting Buddhist chaplain at Curtin University providing support and spiritual advice for students and staff. Gen Nampur is generally at Curtin on Wednesday afternoons. A regular Buddhism and meditation session is conducted in Building 109 Prayer Room on Wednesdays between 1 and 2pm. Gen Nampur generally teaches these sessions but there are also occassional other visiting teachers. The sessions include guided meditation and teachings with an opportunity to ask questions.
