Special Blessing Ceremonies
Empowerments are special ritual ceremonies in which we receive a personal introduction to a particular Buddha and receive their blessings so that we may attain the same qualities as them in the future. Once we have received the blessings of a particular Buddha it is like they become a special, close friend and if we rely upon them we will receive their help and protection. If you have never been to an empowerment before, don't worry, you will be guided in what to do during the actual ceremony. Everyone is welcome to attend these ceremonies. Medicine Buddha is a Buddha doctor who can heal all the sickness of our negative states of mind - the source of all our suffering. Through recieving his blessings we can quickly improve our human qualities, beocme free of all suffering permanently, develop a totally pure mind and the ability to benefit others.
Everyone is welcome to this special blessing ceremony which will be followed by teachings about how to heal our minds and benefit others.
