Venue - The Meeting Place, 245 South Tce (cnr Jenkins Street), South Fremantle
These classes present Buddha's teachings in a practical and accessible way and are suitable for everyone. Classes are run as terms with a common theme, however each class is a stand-alone class so you don't need to start at the beginning of the term or even attend all the classes in a term, just drop in as you are able to. There's no need to book. The cost is $13 per class. Everyone is welcome.
Each class consists of a guided breathing meditation, a talk by the Teacher on an aspect of Buddhist practice or philosophy and a guided contemplative meditation. There is also an opportunity to ask questions at the end, either in class, or stay and have a cup of tea.
These classes are taught by Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Nampur.

Eight Steps to Happiness
The path to happiness is really very simple.... Based on the book of the same title by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso these classes will explain how to awaken our potential for limitless love, compassion and wisdom.

Getting to the Venue -
The Meeting Place is at 245 South Tce, corner of Jenkins St, South Fremantle. Please note building numbers in the area are not necessarily sequential. South Tce is well serviced by local buses including the free Blue CAT service and The Meeting Place is approximately a 25 minute walk from Fremantle Train Station. Two hour street parking is available in surrounding streets. Free all day parking is available on Marine Tce.
