Helping the Centre
Supporting and Developing the Centre
Dharmapala Centre runs through the kindness of volunteers who have a wish to benefit the people of Western Australia by offering their time, skills and material support.
There are many ways in which you can help to benefit the centre and therefore ensure that its work continues in our community. There are always lots of jobs to be done around the centre including, cleaning and gardening, preparing for courses, cooking for courses, helping to distribute publicity or helping at branch classes. We can find a job to suit any skills....and if you don't think you have any, we can probably help you develop some! If you have some time and energy and would like to help at the centre in East Fremantle or at any of the branch classes please speak to the teacher or assistant or contact the Administrative Director on firstname.lastname@example.org
As well as this kind of practical assistance Dharmapala Centre undertakes regular fundraising to assist with the Building Project and with maintenance of the Centre and its activities.
We have for sale a vegetarian cookbook filled with tried and tested, easy and yummy vegetarian food. The cookbook is available at the centre and branches or you can email and we can post you out a copy. The cost for the book is only $15. All proceeds go to the Dharmapala College Building Fund.
Work will soon commence on a new edition of the popular cookbook. If you have original recipes that you would like to contirbute please let us know.
If you have suggestions for fundraising activities or projects that you would like to carry out yourself we'd be delighted to hear from you.
