This retreat is a wonderful opportunity to gain or deepen our experience of the Lamrim meditations presented by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in The New Meditation Handbook and How To Understand The Mind.
All of Buddha’s teachings, both Sutra and Tantra, are included within Lamrim. By gaining experience of the Lamrim meditations we overcome our faults, solve our daily problems and draw closer to enlightenment. Under the guidance of our Resident Teacher, Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Ani, this retreat will cover all the stages of Lamrim. Week One will comprise the 21 meditations presented in the book ‘The New Meditation Handbook’, and Week Two will comprise the 14 meditations presented in the book ‘How To Understand The Mind’. We will enjoy a deeper understanding of how to enter, make progress on and complete the entire path to enlightenment.
Each session lasts for an hour and a half and consists of a teaching, chanted prayers and a guided meditation. You can attend all sessions, or drop-in to as many as you wish.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy this special opportunity.
