For more details on any of the events, or to book, contact the Perth Centre.

Empowerments

Empowerments are special blessing ceremonies where we are given a personal introduction to a Buddha. They are a wonderful way to receive blessings, which help us to progress on the spiritual path. Phone the Centre for more details.

Je Tsongkhapa and Dorje Shugdan Empowerments

March 1&2

Through his teachings and writings of great clarity and comprehensiveness, his immaculate personal example, and tireless energy, Je Tsongkhapa showed a perfect example of how to build the foundation of the spiritual path, how to progress on that path, and how to complete it.  His Dharma Protector, Dorje Shugdan, averts any obstacles that prevent us from attaining spiritual realisations and arranges the necessary conditions for our practice.  The practices of Je Tsongkhapa and Dorje Shugdan are the daily essential ‘Heart’ practices of Kadampa Buddhists.  By relying on these two Buddhas we can accomplish all of our spiritual wishes and aspirations.

Everyone is welcome to join us for this very special event. Kelsang Nampur will grant the blessing empowerments of Je Tsongkhapa and Dorje Shugdan and as part of the empowerments will give a commentary to the practice of Heart Jewel.  The cost for the empowerment is $120, which includes all teachings, lunches and morning and afternoon tea.  Bookings are essential.  Please contact the Centre for more information.
