Weekly Buddhism & Meditation Classes
Come Along to a Class Near You
Like to be happier, more peaceful and relaxed? Then come along to one of our Buddhism and meditation classes at a venue close to you. Classes are held in many locations throughout the metropolitan area. These classes present Buddha's teachings in a practical and accessible way and are suitable for beginners and more experienced meditators.
Each class consists of a guided breathing meditation, a talk by the Teacher on an aspect of Buddhist practice or philosophy and a guided contemplative meditation. There is also an opportunity to ask questions at the end, either in class, or stay and have a cup of tea.
Classes are run in blocks with a common theme, however each class is a stand-alone class so you don't need to start at the beginning of the block or even attend all the classes in a block, just drop in as you are able to. Everyone is welcome.
At the Centre, the first class of the week is given on Monday evening and then repeated Tuesday and Friday mornings so you can choose which day fits with your schedule. In addition, the same class is also given at our external venues giving you even more opportunity to attend around your schedule throughout the week.

Fees and booking:
There's no need to book. The cost is $15 per class. If your would like to come but cannot afford the fee (or contribution towards the fee) at present, then see our suspended classes page.
If you are attending regularly and want to come to weekend events at the Centre as well then you might wish to consider becoming a Dharmapala KMC Centre Card holder.
